The Brunswick Star-News will host a forum for Brunswick County Commissioner candidates running in the May 6 primary election. The forum will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Odell Williamson Auditiorium. Do you have questions you want the candidates to answer?

Today, the Brunswick County school system has invited about 550 people, including school staff, county commissioners and parents in the advisory council, to participate in its first "State of the Schools" forum. There will be speeches and roundtable discussions on where the schools are and where they should go, and on how people in the community can represent the schools positively. Please join in by posting your comments or questions.
