Today, the Brunswick County school system has invited about 550 people, including school staff, county commissioners and parents in the advisory council, to participate in its first "State of the Schools" forum. There will be speeches and roundtable discussions on where the schools are and where they should go, and on how people in the community can represent the schools positively. Please join in by posting your comments or questions.

The Brunswick County Republican Party held its annual convention Saturday, March 22nd. In a straw poll for Governor, Fred Smith won 89%.
